Renting Just One Apartment or Studio

For those who desire only one bedroom and don't mind the possibility of sharing the villa grounds with another party for all or part of your stay, both villas can be split into private apartments or suites. Paradise Villa (PPV) can be split into two private one-bedroom suites, Seaside Apartment and Rainforest Studio, one on each side of the villa, each with private entrance, terrace, and equally stunning views of Castara Bay and the hills of the rainforest. Hanging Gardens Villa (HGV) can be divided into an elegant one bedroom Bamboo Apartment with spectacular view of the sea and over 1,000 sq. ft. of living space and large terrace. Robinson Crusoe Studio is on the lower level of HGV and can be rented as a one or two bedroom studio with mini-kitchen and terrace with wonderful view of the sea.

Seaside Apartment (PPV)

Seaside apartment is approached from the main deck on a flying staircase with a spectacular view of the sea and the village of Castara. It has a 10' x 10' bedroom opening into a sitting/dining room that in turn opens into the wrap around terrace with a similar view. The apartment is air conditioned with a full bathroom with shower and double vanity. There is ample closet space and two full-length mirrors in the bedroom. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with 5 burner stove and oven, full refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen opens the terrace over a bar with view of the same panorama. 

 

Rainforest Studio (PPV)

Rainforest studio is approached from the main deck on a flying staircase with a spectacular view of the sea, the village of Castara and the rainforest. It has a 10' x 10' bedroom opening into a sitting/dining room that in turn opens into the wrap around terrace with a similar view. The apartment is air conditioned with a full bathroom with shower and double vanity. There is ample closet space and two full-length mirrors in the bedroom. There is a mini kitchen with a bar sink, small refrigerator and hotplate. It is ideal for a couple that wants the simple, but elegant li fe.

 

Bamboo Apartment (HGV)

The upper level Bamboo apartment has a spacious 12' X 20' bedroom. The sitting room and dining area open onto the terrace. The construction is of tropical wood accented by Asian and local art. The kitchen and bathroom both have windows opening into the cool atmosphere of the rainforest. Overhead Maui Bay tropical leaf fans provide circulation whether the rooms are left open or closed with the air conditioning on. The kitchen opens to an outdoor breakfast bar. Enjoy the comfortable seating area with its locally carved rattan sofa and chairs. French doors in the bedroom open into the sitting room and dining area which in turn open onto the terrace providing dramatic views of the rainforest and the sea throughout.

 

 

Robinson Crusoe Studios (HGV)

The lower level has two 10'X12' bedrooms (each with a bathroom) open onto a common terrace with an outdoor kitchen bar and sitting/dining area. Both bedrooms have Casablanca fans and are fully air conditioning. Tropical wood construction, art and classic Caribbean furniture complement the tropical setting. The shower features a window (strategically placed) that allows fresh breezes and an incredible view of the sea by day and the stars by night. Robinson Crusoe can be rented as either a one or a two bedroom studio apartment.
